The Teche Center for the Arts in Breaux Bridge hosts its Mini Monthly Writers' Retreats on the first Tuesday of every month. Poet and author Clare L. Martin facilitates the workshops, which run from 6pm-8pm, with a suggested donation of $5 per session.

The Author/Illustrator Program affords teachers, librarians, parents, and other interested adults an excellent opportunity for an exchange of ideas with prominent writers, artists, scholars, and performers of literature for children and young adults.
