Grants information and assistance.

Getting Started

The East Baton Rouge Library System has many resources for those seeking grants. As a Funding Information Network partner (formerly known as a Cooperating Collection) of the Foundation Center, the River Center Branch Library offers access to print materials about grants and grant-writing as well as resources for both nonprofits and for-profit businesses. We also provide access to databases and research tools maintained by one of the most authoritative online sources of information on private philanthropy, the Foundation Center, as well as access to the Metasoft Systems, Inc. database FoundationSearch

Whether you are a grantseeker, grantmaker, or just curious about the grants process, we can help you meet your grants-related information needs. Check out this Infoguide for more information and if you have specific questions, please contact our grants librarian at (225) 389-4964.

Most Grants collection materials are non-circulating, but we have a small collection of materials on fundraising, grant writing, and nonprofit management available for check-out.
