Explore some common misconceptions about native plants and explore the many benefits of using them. Look at some of your options for selecting native plants that can add seasonal color and texture, ranging from large trees to blooming shrubs and perennials. A tour will follow in the Independence Botanical Garden adjacent to the library.

Dillemuth has a broad range of garden and horticultural interests including using native plants, sustainable gardening, gardening for wildlife, maintaining plant diversity and garden design.
