Mometrix – This resource provides test preparation through study guides, flashcards, concept videos, practice questions, and employment resources. The major draw for this resource is that it helps chunk information making it more manageable and adds a visual element to academic material. It also offers practical tips for employment and resume creation.

Bloom Literature – There are a large collection of full text digital classics and poetry that can be read aloud through this resource. It also helps a student find research and essay topics along with teaching how to properly choose a source, cite a source, and prevent plagiarism.

Databases Continued

Gale Interactive – This provides visual representation of science projects and topics in a 3-demintional format. This would be beneficial to have an interactive model for hands-on learning.

Udemy – There are tools for focus, motivation, and building self-discipline in this resource. You can also work on fine motor skills through handwriting practice, drawing, and playing the guitar. Gross motor skill strengthening is also offered through yoga.

Teen Book Cloud – This resource offers eBooks and read - a - loud books. There are also AP English titles available.

Libby (Overdrive) – This resource provides digital and audio options for most book titles. The user can also adjust the size and type of font used to best suit their needs (there’s even a dyslexia font!). The background and font colors can also be adjusted to not be too harsh.

Hiveclass – Build your fine and gross motor skills through the various classes offered through Hiveclass! There are even mindfulness and breathing courses to help you find peace and focus.

Not sure which hobby to do or which craft to tackle, no worries! The Craftsy (1 week pass) and Creativebug (one course at a time) digital resources offer free course and tutorials on any craft you can imagine. Seek out your special interest and deep dive into all things crafting!
