Genealogy: Key Records

Genealogy resources.

About Key Records

Genealogy is about documenting successive generations of kin using primary records whenever possible. At the Genealogy Department our goal is to help you find those key documents. Our collection contains copies of many primary sources but the originals are housed in churches, courthouses, and archives. Click on the key records tab above to see a menu of available documents and basic information about those records. If you have questions please call, 231-3751.

If you are not sure which type of records you should consult, check out Familysearch.org's helpful "United States Record Selection Table" at https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/United_States_Record_Selection_Table to narrow in on the proper resource for your needs.
