Mobile Apps: EBSCOhost App

To authenticate the EBSCOhost app:

1. Log into EBSCOhost.
2. Click the EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications link at the bottom of the page and enter an email address which you can access from your device. An email with an authentication key is sent to you.
3. Access the email from your device and click the link found in the email to authenticate the application. You have 24 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 24 hours, it expires and you will need a new key.

To activate the app, first head over to the iTunes App Store, search for ‘EBSCOhost‘ or to the Android store and install it, then go to the EBRPL library online databases page. Log in with your library card and choose EBSCO Host. After selecting databases, hit continue and on the next page you will see a link saying ‘EBSCOhost iPhone/iPod Touch Application’. After clicking that link you can enter your email address and you will receive a key to access the app.

Click the link in the email you receive and your app is live. It is definitely worth going through these few set-up steps for the benefits of this great app!
