rolo-ref: FAQs

Our rolodex and our collective brains made electronic and put in one place.

Frequently asked questions about rolo-ref

What is rolo-ref?

Our web-based rolodex made available to all fourteen library locations of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System.

What’s in it? (besides the obvious)

Like a good rolodex, it is comprised largely of addresses and phone numbers that would be harder to locate without it. Each entry is able to give more detail than what would normally be available on a 2 x 4 inch rolodex card. Some pages give links to useful web resources (such as conversion calculators), while others supplement the already considerable amount of information found on our web site and our InfoGuides.

Simply put, if it’s useful and otherwise not easy to find, it’s likely in rolo-ref.

Who runs rolo-ref?

Technically, everyone in the library system who wants to contribute to it. All contributors are vetted by the rolo-ref administration team to ensure that all articles are accurate and regularly updated.
