The Library’s mission is to serve all of the people of the parish as an educational, informational, recreational, and cultural center by offering a wide variety of materials, services and programs. The Library acquires materials that provide enrichment, encourage the constructive use of leisure time, and allow for lifelong learning.
The Reference Services Division supports this mission by assembling and maintaining a collection of reference materials in all formats, by providing access to and instruction in the use of computers and their software applications, and by offering information assistance to all patrons.
