Mid City Micro-Con 2024: FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does this event cost?

It's free! There will be no charge to attend panels, workshops, film screenings, presentations, etc.

Where do I park?

We are very fortunate to have a large parking lot at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library at Goodwood.

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome at this event, however, adults should use their discretion when deciding whether or not this event is appropriate for the children in their care.

It's possible to use this event to spark meaningful conversations with your child or to develop a shared interest. That said, some panels and presentations may delve into mature topics and some vendors may have materials that some adults will not find suitable for the children in their care. We ask you to exercise your judgment on your child's maturity level as well as your own comfort level with the content. We encourage you to watch the live streamed panels along with your child if there are any hesitations. As the event draws nearer, we will identify vendors, comic book titles, and programs that are more "kid-friendly" on this InfoGuide and in the event program. Artists will be instructed not to prominently display any material that is not family-friendly. If you have further questions or concerns, feel free to email us at
