Making @ The Library: Home

Imagine, Make, Create, and Build @ The Library

Maker Faire

Makers Welcome

The East Baton Rouge Parish Library is in the process of developing our own makerspaces. What is a makerspace? It's a community area where you can create things, invent, and meet other people with similar interests. It's also sometimes called a hackerspace.

These creative areas will feature prominently in the new Main Library and the new River Center Branch Library. We'll also be having pop-up spaces across the branches. Library resources for the public to use will include 3D Printers, laser lathe, vinyl cutter, arduino kits, and more! Express your creative side and make @ the library.
