Sherlock Holmes

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle: Complete Works

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote over 60 stories involving Sherlock Holmes, in addition to his hundreds of other works. The Sherlock canon can be found in various short story collections and a few in novel form, including The Hound of the Baskervilles.

Short Story Collections:

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1892)

The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (1894)

The Return of Sherlock Holmes (1905)

His Last Bow (1917)

The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes (1927)

Novels:

A Study in Scarlet (1887)

The Sign of the Four (1890)

The Hound of the Baskervilles (1901–1902)

The Valley of Fear (1914–1915)

Compiled lists of Doyle's Sherlock Holmes works, like the one posted in The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia online, are excellent resources for maneuvering through four decades of Sherlock Holmes stories.
